John Fletcher

John Fletcher from Fairway Independent Mortgage in the Silverdale, WA, is committed to taking exceptional care of families who are looking to buy or refinance a home. John has been in the mortgage industry since 1987. He was born and raised in Kitsap County and went to high school in Silverdale at Central Kitsap High School. John is a veteran of the US Navy Seabees, and his father and uncle were WWII veterans and firefighters at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton.

After attending Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA, John spent time working in wholesale foods and wholesale athletic footwear. He was also a wholesale mortgage account executive and worked in retail mortgage lending before coming to Fairway. John and his brother were principles in a three-year estate and real estate case that, through the Washington State Appellate Court, ultimately set deed law precedent in the State of Washington (Bale v. Allison).

John loves the Seahawks, golf, boating, concerts, traveling, Lake Chelan, and owns the cabin in Winthrop, WA. He lives in Bremerton with his wife Suzanne who is an office manager for Dr. Thomas Meeks, a plastic surgeon with Harrison Health Partners. They have three grown children, Ryan (deceased, formerly a journeyman electrician with PSNS), Hillary (graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie School), and Sean (IT worker with Alaska Airlines). All three children graduated from Olympic High School.

For John, one of the greatest moments in life is when a family receives the keys to the front door of their new home. Closing a home loan not only changes the customer’s world, it changes the world around their whole family too! It marks the beginning of many family traditions, celebrations, moments and memories that last a lifetime for all. The daily routiine of work, school, dining, entertaining, relaxing and growing together as a family is enhanced by the surroundings of a family home.
